I have a passion for filmmaking. I spend most of my spare time watching films and tv with friends and family. In my spare time, I have started entering into video editing challenges that I have found on social media. I also just generally create projects and test Ideas and Programs. I am very interested in how films are made, and I would want to work on Tv and Movies in the future.

I have lots of experience working with Video and photography editing programs (Premiere Pro, Photoshop). In my last year of college, I earned a merit in my level 3 Creative Media diploma. In Levels 1&2 Creative Media I earned a Distinction Grade.

This course is the next step I believe I need to take to reach my future goals. The course work is exactly what I enjoy doing, being creative.

This course is pretty much perfect for what I want to do. The university is quite local so I will not have to move away that far, and I’ll Know the area, which is good because I am not keen to move away for now. I have looked at other universities like Aberystwyth and the University of South Wales. Aberystwyth doesn’t seem to be holding any open days any time soon. I have signed up and e-mailed but I am not getting any responses. I have been to an open day at the trinity of south Wales and I am very interested in taking their Film and TV course.

I have a passion for filmmaking. I spend most of my spare time watching films and tv with friends and family. My favourite Movies to watch are action comedy’s. Some of the filmmakers that inspire me are Shane Black, Edgar Wright and Jackie Chan’s Early Chinese based Action Comedy’s. In my spare time, I have started entering video editing challenges that I have found on social media. I also just generally create projects and test Ideas and Programs. I am extremely interested in how films are made, and I would want to work on Tv and Movies in the future.   

      I have lots of experience working with Video and photography editing programs (Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After effects). I am Proficient in self-planning and organizing my work and Time Management. In Levels 1&2 Creative Media I earned a Distinction Grade. At that level, we were only working on creating print-based projects like magazine covers. This wasn’t what I was looking for, I had recently gone to an open evening at Gorseinon and saw what I could be doing and signed up.   

      In my first year of college, I earned merit in my level 3 Creative Media diploma. I aim to do better this year for my Extended Diploma. In my Final Major Project of my first year of college, I created a Grand Theft Auto Title Sequence. This was all done with motion graphics animation in After effects. Although I did enjoy making this project, I do not think that I was Pushing myself and I could have done more. Therefore, I would like to work on more film-based projects, which I hadn’t given myself the chance to yet.  

      I am looking for a course that will help me improve myself to become a better storyteller. Recently I have become interested in screenwriting and I would like to develop this skill in the future. I would also like to take a course that would help me define what I would like to do as a career moving forward.
